Fuji Takako is a Japanese actress and voice actor born in Tokyo in 1972 who trained at Aoyama Gakuin University before joining the Ein Theatrical Company. While her career has primarily focused on stage and voice-over work, she is best known for her iconic role as Kayako Saeki in the Ju-on series and The Grudge films. Her skills in dancing, modern ballet, English language, and contortion have been integral to her performances, particularly for her portrayal of the vengeful ghost character. She was married to Ein Theatrical Company member Watanabe Joji from January 2000 to October 2005.
