Akaso Eiji is a Japanese actor and model currently represented by Tristone Entertainment, best known for his role as Ryuga Banjou in Kamen Rider Build. He began his entertainment career as a model under the name Mamoru Akaso through the Nagoya-based FORM JAPAN agency and was a member of the local idol group BOYS AND MEN from 2010 to 2011, though he ultimately aspired to be an actor rather than an idol. A turning point came in 2013 when he won the Grand Prix at a Samantha Thavasa men's model audition at age 19, leading him to pursue opportunities in Tokyo and ultimately to drop out of university. He joined Tristone Entertainment in 2015, where he has since worked as an actor in television dramas and films under his current stage name.
