Choi Min Ho is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actor who graduated from Konkuk University Affiliated High School and earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in Film Acting from Konkuk University after training at SM Academy Casting for two years. He debuted in May 2008 as the main rapper, sub-vocalist, and visual of SHINee with their first EP "Replay," which sparked the "Shinee Trend" among students and earned the group the Newcomer Album of the Year Award at the 23rd Golden Disc Awards for "The Shinee World" in 2008. Beginning his acting career in 2010 with a role in KBS's "Drama Special Season 1: Pianist," he has since appeared in numerous dramas and films while continuing his music career with SHINee, which expanded to Japan in June 2011 and was recognized on the Forbes South Korea Power Celebrity 40 list in 2014 and 2016. He completed his mandatory military service from April 15, 2019, to November 15, 2020, and debuted as a solo artist in December 2021 with the digital single "Heartbreak," while also co-writing several SHINEE songs.
