Park Joo Mi is a South Korean actress who began her career as an Asiana Airlines model before debuting in acting in 1991, with early roles including "Ladies of the Palace." After marrying businessman Lee Jang Won in 2001, she took a break from acting to raise her family, though she continued appearing in commercials and co-hosting the variety show "Yeo Yoo Man Man" from 2003 to 2005. Following a nine-year hiatus, she returned to screen acting in 2010 with "Man of Vendetta," but a car accident in 2012 while working on the period series "The King's Dream" caused internal injuries that forced her to leave the project mid-production; she resumed her television career in 2014 with "The Story of Kang-goo." In February 2019, Park signed with nHuayi Brothers.
