Darren Chiu is a Taiwanese artist, actor, and singer who was motivated by singer Chou Chieh Lun to establish the music group Lang Hua Hsiung Ti. He is the son of Chiu Han Wen, a prominent chiropractor and traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in Pingtung. Chiu is also a cousin of Democratic Progressive Party legislator Chiu Yi Ying.
