Lee Min Woo, professionally known as M, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actor who was discovered by SM Entertainment while performing in the high school dance group Dicky Ducky and debuted in March 1998 as the lead vocalist and main dancer of SHINHWA with their first album "Resolver." He holds an associate's degree in Applied Music from Woosong Information College, a bachelor's degree in Performance and Video Studies from Paichai University, and a master's degree from Kookmin University, and launched a solo career in November 2003 with the single album "Un-Touch-Able" before establishing his own label, M Rising Entertainment, in 2007. After completing his mandatory military service from February 2010 to March 2012, he served as co-CEO of Shinhwa Company starting in 2011 and participated in the formation of the group's first sub-unit, SHINHWA WDJ, in December 2022 with the mini-album "Come To Life." In 2025, he married Lee Ami, a third-generation Zainichi Korean, adopted her six-year-old daughter and renamed her Lee Ri A, and welcomed a newborn daughter in December 2025.
