HAYATO is a Japanese singer and dancer who initially debuted in April 2020 as a member of the idol group MR. LOVER, produced by choreographer YASTINO, before the group went on hiatus in January 2023. He subsequently participated in NTV's "Yoshiki Superstar Project X" audition program and was selected for the vocal & dance sub-unit, contributing to the tribute song "XY ft. Yoshi" released in February 2023 following the death of member Sasaki Yoshizumi. HAYATO officially re-debuted in June 2023 with the digital single "Crazy Love" as a member of XY, a group featuring multiple sub-units with flexible member assignments.
