Han Geng is a Chinese singer, dancer, and actor who graduated from Central National University with a degree in Dance, where he mastered traditional dances from all 56 of China's ethnic groups and trained in ballet and martial arts. Recruited by SM Entertainment in 2001, he debuted with SUPER JUNIOR in November 2005 as the group's sub-vocalist and lead dancer, and later became part of the Chinese-focused sub-unit SUPER JUNIOR-M in April 2008. After suing SM Entertainment in 2009 over unfavorable contract terms and working conditions that caused him health issues, his contract was terminated in September 2011 following a court ruling in his favor. Since early 2010, he has worked as a solo artist in China, debuting with the album "The Heart of Geng" in June 2010 and as an actor in the US-Chinese film "My Kingdom," while also launching his own eyewear brand and continuing to promote in China and Hong Kong under Yue Hua Entertainment; he married Hong Kong actress Celina Jade in December 2019 and welcomed their first child in September 2022.
