Wataru Hatano is a Japanese voice actor, singer, actor, narrator, radio MC and comedian affiliated with 81 Produce, born on March 13, 1982. He won the Best Male Rookie Award at the 2nd Seiyu Awards in 2008 for his voice roles in Toward the Terra and Saint Beast: Kouin Jojishi Tenshitan, and has since voiced numerous major characters including Haruta Shigemo in Jujutsu Kaisen, Gajeel Redfox in Fairy Tail, and Metal Bat in One Punch Man. In video games, he has provided voices for characters such as Josuke Higashikata in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure games and Rufus in the Street Fighter franchise. On April 2, 2018, he announced his marriage to fellow voice actress Mai Hashimoto.
