Uzaki Ryudo is a Japanese musician, composer, and actor from Kyoto who rose to prominence in 1973 with his rock band the Downtown Boogie-Woogie Band, one of Japan's most popular rock acts of that era. In addition to his band work, he collaborated with his wife Aki Yoko to compose numerous songs for Momoe Yamaguchi. Beyond his music career, Uzaki worked on various film and television soundtracks, including Jackie Chan's Shi Di Chu Ma (1980) and the anime film La Spada dei Kamui (1985), before establishing a successful solo career.
