Ito Kentaro, formerly credited as simply "Kentaro," is a Japanese actor and model born in Tokyo who began his modeling career in 2012 at age 14 and joined Bonn Image agency in 2014. He gained attention through supporting roles in dramas such as "Hirugao: Heijitsu Gogo 3 Ji no Koibito Tachi," "Gakko no Kaidan," and "Aogeba Toutoshi," and made his film debut in 2015 with "My Story!". In 2017, he earned his first leading roles in the film "Demekin" and the TV drama "Ashi Girl," and on his 21st birthday announced a change to his full birth name. Currently managed by Aoao agency and known to fans as "Icchan," Ito was involved in a car accident in Shibuya Ward on October 28, 2020, in which his vehicle struck a motorcycle; he was arrested for hit-and-run but the prosecutors suspended their investigation in March 2021 after a settlement with the two victims was reached.
