Iura Arata, born September 15, 1974, is a Japanese actor, model, and fashion designer from Tokyo who formerly performed under the stage name ARATA in capital letters before officially changing to his real name in January 2012. Beyond his acting career, he founded the fashion line Elnest Creative Activity and is an accomplished photographer who debuted his first solo photography exhibition in 2012. His performances have earned him critical acclaim, including the Best Supporting Actor award at the 65th Television Drama Academy Awards for "Chase" and the Best Supporting Actor recognition at the 2012 Blue Ribbon Awards for "Our Homeland."
