Hayashi Kento is a Japanese actor from Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, represented by Stardust Promotion Production Department 3. Discovered in 2005 while in junior high school at Shibuya Station, he made his film debut in "Battery" in 2007 and earned multiple newcomer awards including the Japan Academy Prize and Kinema Junpo Best Ten recognition. He gained further acclaim for his role in the 2020 broadcast "Sekai wa 3 de Dekitei," where he portrayed identical triplets as the sole performer and won the 58th Galaxy Awards Grand Prize in the TV category. In July 2021, he married actress and former AKB member Oshima Yuko, whom he met while starring together in the morning drama "Scarlet," and they welcomed their first child in January 2023.
