Susan Sun, the English name of Chinese actress Sun Li, is widely recognized as China's "Queen of Television" by both critics and audiences. She began her entertainment career by competing in MediaCorp's 2001 Star Search in Singapore, where she reached the finals and received praise from judge Andy Lau, subsequently joining Hairun Media as their first flagship artist. Sun married actor Deng Chao in 2010 with an official ceremony in 2011, and the couple has two children: a son born in November 2011 and a daughter born in May 2014. In 2018, she won the Flying Apsaras Awards, and she has a half-sister, actress Sun Yan, who is 19 years her junior.
