Harada Ryuji is a Japanese actor who faced significant controversy in May 2019 when Weekly Bunshun reported that he had been involved in affairs with multiple women. As a result of the scandal, he was removed from the cast of the Sazae-san stage play—a production created for the anime's 50th anniversary celebration where he was originally set to portray Masuo, Sazae's husband—and was subsequently replaced by actor Katsurayama Shingo.
