Kiritani Mirei, born Matsuoka Sayasa, is a Japanese actress, model, and news anchor known for her film roles in Kimi ni Todoke, Usagi Drop, and Arakawa Under the Bridge, as well as television appearances in dramas including Andō Lloyd: A.I. knows Love?, Gunshi Kanbei, and Hell Teacher Nūbē. Since 2012, she has anchored NTV's News Zero program every Tuesday, and in 2015 she starred in the vampire film Koisuru Vampire and the Netflix original series Atelier. In July 2018, she married actor Shohei Miura, her co-star from the 2016 drama "Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto," and they welcomed their first child, a son, in July 2020. In March 2022, she announced her independence following the expiration of her contract with Sweet Power on March 31, 2022.
