Jung Jin Young is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, composer, and lyricist who graduated from Zhongshan Foreign Language High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Theater and Film from Cheongju University. He debuted in April 2011 as the leader and lead vocalist of B1A4 with their first EP "Let's Fly," and made his official acting debut in April 2013 in the drama "She Is Wow," eventually winning the Best New Actor award at the 2016 KBS Drama Awards. After leaving B1A4 in June 2018 when his contract with WM Entertainment was not renewed, he completed mandatory military service from June 20, 2019 to April 9, 2021. In addition to his acting career, he has worked as a composer and lyricist for various artists including I.O.I and Oh My Girl, and has contributed OSTs to dramas while being represented by Management Run.
