Jojo Tichakorn Phukhaotong is a Thai TV director, screenwriter, and founder of Trasher Bangkok, a party-planning service, who holds a bachelor's degree in English from the Faculty of Archaeology at Silpakorn University. The Surat Thani native made his directorial and writing debut in 2016 with the first season of 'Gay OK Bangkok' despite having no formal film background, having previously created Bangkok-set parody music videos featuring actor Jennie Panhan. Motivated by a desire to expand LGBTQ+ representation in Thai media beyond stereotypical portrayals, Jojo developed the series based on his own experiences and those of his community. In 2021, he departed from Trasher Bangkok and established Hard Feeling Film, a new production company named after Lorde's song.
