Kang Ho Dong is a South Korean television host and comedian who gained initial fame as a top traditional wrestler and is recognized as one of the two National MCs alongside Yoo Jae-Suk. In 2008, he made history by becoming the first comedian to win the Baeksang Arts Awards Grand Prize for Television, while also achieving an entertainment awards grand slam across KBS, MBC, SBS, and Baeksang. After terminating his contract with De Chocolate E&TF due to non-payment issues, he took a temporary leave from public life in September 2011 following tax evasion rumors that were later determined to be an accounting error, before returning to the industry in late 2012 with S.M. C&C as his new agency. He married Lee Hyo-jin on November 12, 2006, after meeting her on an arranged double blind date with Yoo Jae-Suk, and they welcomed their first child, son Kang Si-hoo, on March 13, 2009.
