Chawarin Perdpiriyawong, known as NuNew, is a Thai singer and actor of Chinese descent who studied in the Chinese Language Department at Kasetsart University's Faculty of Humanities and works under the BL production company Domundi. He launched his entertainment career in 2022 with his acting debut in "Cutie Pie," earning him the "Shining Star of the Year" and "Hottest Artist" awards at the Kazz Awards 2022, as well as the Mint Awards' Rookie of the Year. That same year, his OST "True Love" for the lakorn "To Sir, With Love" became a viral sensation, making him the first Thai artist to reach one million votes on the TPOP Standby App and earning him Original Song of the Year at the Nataraj Awards. In July 2023, NuNew officially debuted as a solo artist with the release of his first non-OST single "Anything."
