Oikawa Mitsuhiro is a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter, composer, and actor born in Ota, Tokyo, who graduated from Seijo University's Faculty of Law. His entertainment career began in stage theater and as a band member, followed by his singing debut in 1996 with the single "Morality" and his acting debut in "With Love" (1998), for which he received the New Actor award at the 17th Television Drama Academy Awards. He is best known for playing Kanbe Takeru in seasons 8-10 of the detective drama "AIBOU" and has frequently collaborated with actor Karasawa Toshiaki, with whom he shares interests in the Takarazuka Revue. Originally represented by Mother Enterprise until 2015, he joined Horipro in July 2012, and was married to actress Dan Rei, a former Takarazuka member, from July 2011 to November 2018. An avid fan of Gundam and Kamen Rider series, he performed the theme song for and starred as Kamen Rider 3 in "Super Hero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3" (2015).
