Takuya Terada is a Japanese model, actor, singer, and dancer who graduated from Ibaraki Prefectural Ina High School and began his career as a commercial model in 2009 before making his acting debut in the 2010 musical Black & White and subsequently appearing in the 2011 TV dramas "Run 60" and "SIGN." He debuted as the leader, vocalist, and visual of CROSS GENE in June 2012 under Amuse Inc. with their first mini-album "Timeless: Begins," though he stepped down from the leadership role in 2013 when member J.G left the group. Terada also became a regular cast member on JTBC's "Abnormal Summit" as the Japanese representative, appearing in variety programming about foreign life in South Korea. He announced his departure from CROSS GENE on December 10, 2018, to concentrate on his acting and modeling careers.
