Carolyn Chen is a Taiwanese actress from Kaohsiung affiliated with Haina Baichuan Entertainment. She completed her education at San Hsin Home Economics & Commerce Vocational High School's Department of International Trade and Yu Da College of Business's Department of Applied English. Chen started her career as a fashion model in 2004 before making her acting debut in Beautiful Clinic. She was married to a designer between 2008 and 2009.
