With the 2026 ContentAsia Awards ceremony just one week away, four Thai BL series are preparing to compete for Best LGBTQ+ Programme Made in Asia.
The winners will be announced during an in-person ceremony in Bangkok on Thursday, August 27. Thai productions occupy all five places in the category, with four BL series joined by the GL action-romance Heart Code.
The Best LGBTQ+ Programme nominees
The five nominated productions are:
- Burnout Syndrome — GMMTV — BL
- Goddess Bless You From Death — CHANGE2561 — BL
- Heart Code — MONO Original and MONOMAX — GL
- Me and Thee — GMMTV — BL
- Melody of Secrets — GMMTV — BL
GMMTV leads the category with three nominated BL series: Burnout Syndrome, Me and Thee and Melody of Secrets. CHANGE2561 is represented by Goddess Bless You From Death, while MONO Original and MONOMAX complete the lineup with Heart Code.
The category brings together romantic drama, mystery, psychological tension and supernatural storytelling from across Thailand’s growing BL and GL industries.
Pavel and Heart Code earn Viewers’ Choice nominations
Pavel Naret Promphaopun, who stars opposite Pooh Krittin in Goddess Bless You From Death, is nominated for Favourite Actor. He is competing alongside Indonesian actor Arya Saloka and Thai actor Pon Nawasch.
Heart Code received two additional nominations. The series is in the running for Favourite TV Series alongside Good Heavens! I’m a Goose Not a Swan, fellow Thai GL series Harmony Secret, Dear X and Typhoon Family. It is also nominated for Most Romantic Moment.
More than 165 programs were nominated across the seventh annual ContentAsia Awards. The four Thai productions competing for Best LGBTQ+ Programme are the only confirmed BL titles on this year’s full nominee list.
