What would happen if Fourth Nattawat and Phuwin Tangsakyuen suddenly switched bodies—but their established screen pairings with Gemini Norawit and Pond Naravit remained exactly the same?
Fourth’s mother, affectionately known by fans as Mae Pui, recently floated that delightfully confusing premise during a live broadcast. The moment was captured in a fan-recorded clip shared by @4FahFourth, with an English translation and explanation later shared by @nongsiii.
Under Mae Pui’s hypothetical storyline, Fourth and Phuwin would exchange bodies while Gemini and Pond remained themselves. The characters’ feelings and relationships would not change—but everything would suddenly look very different.
That means Gemini would seemingly be paired with Phuwin, although Fourth would be the person inside Phuwin’s body. Pond, meanwhile, would see Fourth standing in front of him while actually interacting with Phuwin.
Confused yet? That is exactly what makes the idea so entertaining.
A series built around the premise could ask Fourth and Phuwin to imitate one another’s mannerisms, speech patterns and expressions. Gemini and Pond’s characters would then have to look beyond appearances and recognize their respective partners through the small behaviors that make each person distinct.
The concept could deliver plenty of comedy through mistaken identities, awkward encounters and failed attempts to behave normally. It could also become unexpectedly heartfelt, exploring whether someone can recognize the person they care about even when that person no longer looks like themselves.
Of course, Mae Pui was sharing a playful idea—not announcing an actual GMMTV project or a change to either established screen pairing. Still, the concept already sounds tailor-made for a special episode or a chaotic four-lead romantic comedy.
Now the real question is: could Fourth convincingly play Phuwin playing Fourth—and could any of us keep track of it?
