GMMTV’s upcoming BL series I Will Always Save You has reached another important step toward production, with its cast gathering for their first script read-through.
Photos shared on August 5 showed leading actors Jimmy Jitaraphol Potiwihok and Sea Tawinan Anukoolprasert taking part in the session alongside Dunk Natachai Boonprasert and members of the supporting cast, including Sammy Samantha Melanie Coates and Jamie Juthapich Indrajundra.
The read-through gives the actors and production team an opportunity to work through the screenplay together, develop their characters and begin establishing the dynamics that will eventually appear on screen.
While the session represents tangible progress for the project, it does not necessarily mean that filming has begun. GMMTV has not yet announced an official filming start date or premiere window for the series.
What is I Will Always Save You about?
First unveiled as part of GMMTV’s 2026 lineup, I Will Always Save You is an action-romance BL centered on police lieutenant Pongpuen, played by Jimmy, and singer Pepper, played by Sea.
After Pepper witnesses a murder connected to the son of a powerful politician, he is placed under Pongpuen’s protection. Their arrangement is complicated by a difficult history between them, but Pongpuen remains determined to protect Pepper as the danger surrounding the case grows.
Dunk Natachai also holds a prominent role in the series, with the full cast bringing together several familiar GMMTV performers.
The project marks Jimmy and Sea’s latest leading series together following My Magic Prophecy, while introducing the pairing to a story built around witness protection, action and suspense rather than the more intimate dramatic settings of their previous projects.
I Will Always Save You is produced by GMMTV in collaboration with Chamade Film. A release date and streaming details have not yet been announced.
