Love Upon a Time is heading to Netflix on September 11, 2026, bringing the historical fantasy BL starring Net Siraphop Manithikhun and JJ Radchapon Phornpinit to another major streaming platform.
The upcoming catalog addition was first reported for Netflix Brazil. A worldwide rollout has not yet been officially detailed, so availability may vary between Netflix regions.
Set nearly 400 years in the past, Love Upon a Time follows Nakhun, a modern university student unexpectedly transported to Thailand’s Ayutthaya era. After being mistaken for a missing young man named Klao, he assumes Klao’s identity while searching for a way home and investigating what happened to him.
His arrival draws the suspicion of Phop, Klao’s close companion, who quickly realizes that something about him has changed. Their growing connection becomes part of a larger story involving destiny, hidden identities and a romance capable of transcending time.
The 12-episode series also stars Latte Thanutchon Chankaewarmorn and Kim Pongsaton Sittipan. It originally premiered on March 27, with its uncut version released internationally through iQIYI.
Netflix has not yet confirmed whether its release will include the uncut version or which subtitle and dubbing options will be available. Viewers outside Brazil should check their local Netflix catalog closer to September 11.
