Thailand's leading entertainment company GMMTV is ready to serve its newest BL romance with Match Point, a sports-themed series starring Teshow Promsakha na Sakonnakhon and Ping Krittanun Aunchananun in their first on-screen pairing.

Premiering July 26, the series combines rivals-to-lovers romance, family conflict, and competitive tennis as two longtime enemies are unexpectedly forced to become doubles partners. Directed by Chik Sakon Tiacharoen, Match Point is also supported by Thailand's Department of Cultural Promotion under the Ministry of Culture.

A rivalry that becomes something more

Ping stars as Sun, his school's star tennis player and model student, while Teshow plays Bay, a free-spirited art student with a rebellious streak and a talent for winning art competitions.

Their rivalry extends beyond the tennis court. The pair come from families that have feuded for years, with each side operating competing dim sum restaurants on Krongthong Road. Sun's family runs the long-established Saming Phon Fai, while Bay's family owns the popular MERLION, known for its signature shumai.

After an injury costs Sun an important match, the school principal unexpectedly orders the two rivals to compete together as a doubles team. Keeping their partnership hidden from their fathers, Sun and Bay begin training together away from home, where constant clashes slowly evolve into mutual understanding—and eventually, romance.

With both families firmly against their relationship, the pair make one final wager: if they become national boys' doubles champions, their fathers must accept them. If they lose, they promise never to see each other again.
