Max Nattapol Diloknawarit has joined the cast of Saep on the Beach, completing the four-actor lineup for the upcoming cross-cultural Thai BL series.
The production announced Max as its final cast member after previously introducing Benjamin Brasier, Tata Krittapat and Chinese-Canadian actor Yi Gao in July.
Max is particularly well known to BL audiences for playing Korn in Together With Me and Tan in the mystery romance Manner of Death. His addition brings another experienced BL lead to a cast that combines established actors with newer international talent.

What is Saep on the Beach about?
Saep on the Beach is adapted from MAME’s BL novel Love Sand (หาดร้อน ซ่อนรัก). The original story follows Khom, a 19-year-old resident of Koh Phangan who temporarily takes over his injured friend’s work as a tour guide.
His assignment brings him together with Connor, a wealthy and dangerously charming Canadian visitor. What is supposed to be three days and two nights of sightseeing develops into an attraction neither man expected—and a relationship that may last far longer than Connor’s trip.
The official English edition of _Love Sand_ is listed as part of the wider TharnType Story collection. Khom and Connor’s story also shares connections with characters from Love Sea, including island guide Mahasamut.
The television adaptation appears to be expanding the novel’s central premise. An official project description published for Thailand Character & Content Expo 2026 says the series will follow two foreign visitors who travel to Thailand and gradually fall for two Thai men—as well as the country itself—while exploring the beaches of southern Thailand.
An English-led Thai BL
The production is billing Saep on the Beach as the first Thai BL series primarily told in English. Thai dialogue will also be incorporated into its multilingual story, which is designed around cultural and linguistic differences between its four central characters.
Director Lit Phadung Samajarn, whose previous BL credits include SOTUS, My Engineer, Love Mechanics and The Ex-Morning, is directing the adaptation for Dream Dimension.
Speaking about the project, Lit said the team wants to preserve the identity of Thai BL while taking its storytelling into a more international space where language, culture and everyday life form part of the romance.
The production has also discussed plans for Spanish and other dubbed versions as part of its international strategy, according to TrueID’s coverage of the project launch.
A premiere date, episode count and streaming platform have not yet been announced.
