GMMTV has announced major changes to the upcoming North American dates of the Only Friends: Dream On Americas Tour, citing delays in the U.S. visa process.
According to the official announcement, Earth Pirapat, Mix Sahaphap, Aou Thanaboon and Boom Tharatorn will not be able to travel for the Vancouver and Washington, DC fan meetings. Joss Way-ar and Gawin Caskey, however, are able to make the trip and have chosen to continue with the Washington events.
Vancouver event canceled
The September 4 fan meeting at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre has been canceled. All tickets will be refunded in full through their original point of purchase.
The event had been scheduled to bring EarthMix, JossGawin and AouBoom to Canada together for the first time as part of the series’ Americas tour.
Washington dates become JossGawin fan meetings
The two Washington, DC events will now proceed as JossGawin Fan Meetings, with the original September 7 show moved to September 6.
The revised schedule at The Howard Theatre is:
- September 6 at 12:30 p.m. — honoring tickets originally purchased for September 7
- September 6 at 6:00 p.m. — the previously scheduled September 6 event
GMMTV says all benefits included with the original tickets will remain valid for the corresponding JossGawin fan meetings.
Fans who would prefer not to attend the revised events may request a full refund through their original point of purchase between August 25 at 10:00 a.m. EDT and September 5 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
The announcement specifically provides instructions for the Vancouver and Washington dates. It does not clarify whether the tour’s September 9 Mexico City event or its later Latin American stops will be affected, so their status should not be inferred from the changes announced for these two cities.
