MileApo fans have a new way to watch Shine. The eight-episode Thai historical romance is now streaming on Netflix in the United States, expanding the series’ availability beyond its original release markets.
Set in Bangkok in 1969, Shine follows Trin, an idealistic economist who returns home with hopes of helping reform the country. His convictions are challenged when he meets Tanwa, a free-spirited musician navigating wounds of his own. As political unrest grows around them, their connection develops into a forbidden romance that tests their beliefs and their understanding of freedom.
The Be On Cloud production stars Apo Nattawin Wattanagitiphat as Trin and Mile Phakphum Romsaithong as Tanwa, reuniting the popular pairing following KinnPorsche. The cast also includes Son Yuke Songpaisan and Nok Sinjai Plengpanich.
