Thai actors familiar to BL audiences are trading television sets for sled pushes, rowing machines and wall balls at BYD HYROX Bangkok 2026.
The four-day fitness competition is taking place from August 13–16 at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. More than 20,000 athletes were expected to participate, making it the largest HYROX event held in Thailand and one of the competition’s biggest editions in Asia.
Among the familiar faces taking on the challenge are DaouOffroad, Apo, Great Sapol, Frank Thanatsaran and Long Lee, with Pavel Naret, Billy Patchanon and Film Thanapat also connected to the weekend’s program.
DaouOffroad complete HYROX together
Daou Pittaya and Offroad Kantapon entered the Men’s Doubles division on the opening day of the event.
The Love in Translation and Century of Love stars completed the race together in a provisional time of 1:20:52, according to the event’s published results.
Videos shared during the competition showed Daou and Offroad moving through the workout stations as supporters watched from around the course. The pair later celebrated their finish together inside the HYROX Bangkok venue.
HYROX Doubles requires both competitors to complete the running portions together while dividing the work at each functional fitness station.
MileApo represented across the HYROX weekend
Apo Nattawin joined the HYROX Men field on Friday. Fans shared photos and videos of the KinnPorsche and Shine star competing at the Bangkok venue.
His MileApo partner Mile Phakphum is scheduled to compete in Sunday’s Men’s Doubles program. Mile had previously shared parts of his preparation through a HYROX-related activity with Clear Thailand.
Although Mile and Apo are participating on different days and in different divisions, their appearances make MileApo one of several familiar Thai acting pairs represented across the HYROX Bangkok weekend.
Frank and Long Lee complete HYROX Bangkok
Frank Thanatsaran completed his first HYROX, confirming his participation through a post on X.
“My first HYROX!” Frank wrote alongside a video filmed after finishing the event.
His Love Syndrome III co-star Long Lee, also known as Longshi Lee, completed the course as well. Long Lee shared photographs from the competition on his Instagram account, captioning the carousel “Finish” alongside the hashtags #hyroxbangkok and #hyroxbangkok2026.
Their appearances mean both leads of Love Syndrome III participated in the Bangkok fitness competition.
Frank is also known to BL audiences through ’Cause You’re My Boy, 2gether and The Rebound, while Long Lee recently starred in Doctor’s Mine.
Great Sapol takes on the course alone
Great Sapol entered the individual competition, completing his first HYROX as a solo athlete.
In interview footage shared by Great’s official fan club, the Wandee Goodday and Ossan’s Love Thailand star explained that he had previously competed with a partner.
Great described the individual course as considerably more exhausting than competing with someone else, but said the experience was still fun. His appearance adds another BL favorite to the growing list of Thai actors embracing the fitness competition.
More familiar actors are scheduled for Sunday
The entertainment-industry turnout continues through the final day of HYROX Bangkok.
Actors announced for Sunday’s Men’s Doubles program include Pit Babe lead Pavel Naret and The Sign star Billy Patchanon, alongside Mile.
Film Thanapat, known for the queer dramas To Sir, With Love and Laws of Attraction, is also expected to compete with fellow One31 actor New Akarawin.
Because Sunday’s races have not yet been completed, their appearances remain scheduled rather than confirmed finishes.
What is HYROX?
HYROX combines eight one-kilometer runs with eight functional workout stations.
Competitors alternate between running and challenges including the SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls.
Athletes can enter individually, compete with a partner in Doubles or divide the course among four people in a Relay.
The Bangkok competition also serves as a qualifying event for the 2027 PUMA HYROX World Championships in Hong Kong. According to The Nation, registrations for the August event increased by 14 percent following HYROX Bangkok’s previous edition in March.
With actors, musicians and thousands of recreational athletes joining the same standardized course, HYROX has quickly become one of Thailand’s most visible fitness events—and this weekend’s entertainment-industry turnout is giving BL fans several more competitors to follow.
