Thee and Wave publicly embraced the “TheeWave” pairing during Duang Go Round Concert Day 2 on August 16, following months of fans using the name and the Thai ship tag #ท่านโปรดคลื่น to support the two together.
During the concert, Thee prompted Wave to address the audience, saying, “Wave, tell them.” Wave responded by asking fans, “Please support us,” before the pair announced “TheeWave!” together onstage.
The moment is especially significant because TheeWave was not a newly created name. Fans had already been shipping the two and openly hoping they would eventually become an official pairing. Until now, however, their status remained uncertain.
