ARGENTIS has released the official trailer for Police in Love, confirming that the new Thai BL series starring Yin Anan Wong and War Wanarat will premiere Saturday, September 12.
New episodes will be released every Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ICT exclusively on WeTV.
The romantic comedy stars Yin as Thiertha, a police inspector whose increasingly dangerous streak of bad luck leads his family to an unconventional solution: he must marry someone whose birth date and name match a very specific set of astrological conditions.
That person turns out to be Mangkorn, a junior police officer played by War.
Thiertha proposes a strictly temporary arrangement: “Can you marry me? We’ll divorce after six months.” The two establish rules intended to keep their marriage from becoming real, including not allowing themselves to get carried away or develop genuine feelings. As the trailer makes clear, following those rules may prove considerably more difficult than either man expects.
The series is adapted from Kanola’s novel Phanraya Sarawat Thier (ภรรยาสารวัตรเธียร์), also known in English as Inspector Thier’s Wife. It reunites Yin and War as series leads following Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart! and continues their long-running screen partnership after projects including Love Mechanics.
ARGENTIS revealed the trailer and complete premiere details on August 14 during “PIL Press and Pray,” a press event and traditional worship ceremony for the production.
Police in Love premieres September 12, with new episodes arriving Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. ICT on WeTV. International availability and subtitle options may differ by territory.
