The Japanese remake Your Sky: Hare Nochi Koi is nearly here—and the original series’ leading pair will be part of it.
Ayuta Fukuda of DXTEEN and Isshin Aihara of ONE LOVE ONE HEART lead the adaptation as Hinata Funase and Sora Hanamura. Their relationship begins with an impulsive lie after Sora steps in to protect Hinata from an overbearing senior, setting an unexpected fake romance in motion.
The nine-episode series begins airing on Tokyo MX at 25:30 on August 1, which technically places its Japanese broadcast premiere at 1:30 a.m. JST on August 2. Episodes will also stream in Japan through FOD immediately after broadcast, with catch-up availability through TVer.
Internationally, Your Sky: Hare Nochi Koi premieres August 2 on GagaOOLala, excluding Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and South Korea.
Tokyo MX has also confirmed that Thomas Teetut Chungmanirat and Kong Kongpob Jirojmontri, who starred as Muenfah and Teerak in the original Thai version, will make special guest appearances in the remake. Details about when—or as whom—they will appear remain under wraps.
