Khemjira (เข็มจิรา)

Synopsis

Khem exists under a hereditary curse that historically claims male heirs before their twenty-first year. His mother armed him with a feminine name—Khemjira—a phonetic shield meant to confuse whatever force hunts their line. The protection holds for years, but as his twenty-first birthday approaches, Khem encounters spectral figures in reflective surfaces and wakes to ash and foreign incantations.
